Locally Crafted Sourdough & Baked Goods

Our Vision

Every loaf tells a story, a story of tradition, health, and community. At Wild Sage Roots, we believe that food should be as nourishing as it is flavorful. That’s why nearly everything we make begins with our 90yr old sourdough starter, naturally fermented to unlock its benefits for digestion, flavor, and overall well being. Using only high quality ingredients and time honored methods, we create breads, bagels, cookies, muffins, and more that bring people together.

More than just baked goods, our work is about supporting local, fostering connection, and sharing the wholesome joy of food crafted with care.

Our 90-year-old heirloom starter is more than a tradition; it’s the key to sourdough’s natural benefits. Slow fermentation breaks down gluten and phytic acid, making each loaf easier to digest and allowing your body to absorb more nutrients. The wild cultures create natural probiotics that support gut health and overall wellness. Unlike conventional breads, sourdough has a gentler effect on blood sugar, giving you longer lasting, steadier energy. With its rich flavor and nourishing qualities, sourdough is bread as it was meant to be, wholesome, simple, and truly good for you.
